Why She Plans Dinner?

During the summer of 2012, I read Laura Vanderkam's 168 Hours: Your Have More Time than You Think. I have waxed eloquent on my thoughts about that book in other places. One of its take away thoughts that has stuck with me is...

Spend less time doing what you dislike and more time doing what you love.

I think that philosophy pretty well sums up my heart for She Plans Dinner.

We all have a non-negotiable amount of time. 60 minutes every hour. 24 hours every day. 168 hours every week.

How do you want to be spending your time? What do you like doing? What do you dislike doing?

Over social media and in day to day life, I have heard that people want to cook. They need to cook in order to stay within their means. But, people don't have enough time to do everything that goes into the cooking process.

The things like planning out a menu. Making a grocery list. Shopping that list. Cooking the things on the menu.

It all consumes too much time. There is enough time to make a wonderful menu, but not the grocery list. Or to shop, but not make the menu and grocery list. Or to shop, but not cook, because there is no correlation between your pantry and your recipes.

Or to cook, but not plan.

She Plans Dinner will save you time. You only have to shop and cook. We have taken the planning step out of your dinner.

She Plans Dinner will save you money. Yes, there is a nominal monthly subscription fee, but you will save that amount by shopping with a list-guaranteed!

She Plans Dinner will help you to decrease or entirely eliminate waste. You are only buying what you need for recipes. Not what you think you might want to eat.

She Plans Dinner will save you time in the kitchen. Almost all of our recipes take 30 minutes or less hands on time. If takes more time than 30 minutes, there are leftovers.

She Plans Dinner recipes are not just the entree, they are the entire meal prep. There are step by step instructions of when to start your pasta, and your vegetable, and the meat, so everything is done at the same time. This makes for time saving and efficiency in the kitchen.

These two verses crossed my mind when I was thinking about why someone might want to use the She Plans Dinner subscription service.

"...like a master of a house, who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.” (Matthew 13:52)

"...it is required in stewards that one be found faithful." (1 Corinthians 4:2)

She Plans Dinner will help you be a good steward of your resources. She Plans Dinner will increase your treasure trove, giving you new recipes to rely on from now until forever. She Plans Dinner will give you the resources to make easy, delicious, colorful, and nutritious meals for your family. Whether your family is made up of one person or 10 people.

Well, I had planned to answer the whole array of 6 questions...who, what, where, how, why, when-but I only covered the why. Tomorrow I will have to share more technical information on She Plans Dinner. Today, I'd invite you to follow our journey on Facebook or Twitter
