This eCard made me chuckle this past November....

Giving people are happy people. So are thankful people. Focusing on the blessings you have definitely lifts your heart. Ungratefulness and focusing on what you don't have is a real downer.
We are so blessed, and our thankfulness should radiate from our hearts and lives throughout the year-not only in November.
Ann Voskamp wrote a hugely popular book 1000 Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are. In it she encourage her readers to embrace and list everyday blessings.
My challenge for you today is to mesh November's thankfulness with Ann's and write yourself a thankful list. What big and small things are you thankful for today? Who are you thankful for?
I'm thankful for...
safety
dependable transportation
fluffy and warm blankets for really cold days and nights
YouTube movie clips that educate and entertain
hot water for showers
cold drinkable water
tea
coffee
my 2 year old singing Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do
my boys valiantly chipping away at the ice in the driveway
my LC becoming a bookworm
funny books
challenging books
times of private and corporate prayer
answers to prayer
the Bible-it's newness and applicability each time around
my husband
art
my photos and paintings finally being rehung after our paint project
new businesses
inspiring and talented friends
friendship
quiet
libraries-for books (obviously) and for being the most quiet public place you can go to. Amen?
my blog
all my online friends
this series-it is growing me in many ways...brevity, consistency, besides the actual actions.=)
