Things I'll Never Understand

...the way some people wait until the 11th hour to merge into traffic in construction zones. Do they really think they are more important than the rest of us and shouldn't have to wait their turn?

...the way shirts and socks end up inside out after going through the laundry.

...the way my entire family can walk past/step over toys or garbage on the floor, and not pick it up. Not even see it!

...the way Brownie Pudding Cake works magically making separated cake and sauce.

...the way a trip to somewhere flies by, but the trip home lasts interminably.

...why I leave a cupboard door open. It is supposedly for convenience while I am cooking or whatever, but I end up knocking my head more often than not.

...why people make brownies from a box mix when from scratch takes only a minute or two longer but tastes infinitely better.

...why sunshine lifts my mood and grayness plunges it. But, it does.

...the appeal of skinny jeans and jeggings.

...Black Friday.

...how anyone doesn't like chocolate. It's beyond me.

...the way glass and sunlight make rainbows in my house.

...how the first and last miles are the hardest. Always. Whether its 2 miles, or 3, or 13.

...the way time flies when I am trolling social media.

...how "just sayin'" supposedly justifies every level of deliberate offense.

...why there never seems to be enough time in a day. Especially around the holiday season. Which is why I need to re-read my own post on Time Management over on Womanhood with Purpose...(here)

Join me there?! And, tell me, just what things will you never understand?
