Got Time?

We visited ArtPrize again this weekend...
40 name tags laminated for BC

A sculpture. I thought it looked like hands holding something.
It is supposed to be trees of some sort.

this is actually paper cut outs-not a drawing

Huge pencil drawing

I love metal sculptures. And the eager art gazers.

Again, a pencil drawing. Amazing. Top 25.

No way to describe this or give it justice. Probably my favorite of favorites.

A well done painting

Not the caliber of a lot of things, but whimsical

T-Rex

Friends...another something about it one...

Return to Eden, Top 10, a mosaic.
I love the lamb in there. Must have been a Christian artist.

A glass dandelion

Moving, color changing fish in the river.

Look who joined ArtPrize.

Here we are, the first of October, and I am contemplating my week. And wondering just how everything is going to happen.

Have I ever talked about time on here? Just here and here and here...

Because no matter that 168 hours is more time than we think...sometimes the calendar and to-do list for the week seems like trying to work an illusion of Houdini proportions.

My final regular task that needs fit into this week (and all weeks from here on out), has me wondering once again how everything is going to get done. Not only does Bible Club itself take up about 2 hours on Wednesday, it also will involve at least another hour of study time every week.

Study time which is on top of my BSF study time, and SS study time.

Oh yeah, and BC takes place during my regularly scheduled bathroom cleaning time. And since we can't let this scrub job go for the next 8 months, something has to change.

I've have to find a new rhythm for my Wednesday routine to fit in school, cleaning, blogging and BC.

But, actually, I'm not too worried about it. I know who I'm serving.

I'm serving the Eternal God. He is my refuge. And underneath me are the everlasting arms. (Duet. 33:27)

I am serving the God to whom one thousand years is a day, and a day is as  one thousand years. (2 Pt. 3:8)

I am serving the God who created time, and who transcends time. He is and goes beyond the range and limit of time. He is eternal. He always was, is and will be. He has no beginning or end.

And, I am serving the God who keeps His promises-ever faithful, always unchanging. Promises like:

"I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry." (1 Timothy 1:12)

Part of the enabling is being able to do the work. Being able to teach or to serve. Part of the enabling is having the time to serve.

There is always time to do the work God has called you to. Always.

If we are before God, asking Him to lead us into what He wants us to do, and we take on something because we feel it is His will, we can rest assured there will be time to do it.

Not only will there be time for the ministry, there will be time for every other thing God has called you to.

For me this calling includes parenting, homeschooling, being a wife, attending a Bible study, teaching Sunday School, writing a blog, cooking, and house keeping.

I find that what looks impossible to me, is totally possible with God. I believe in the principle of multiplied time. And I pray for it every day. God multiplies my efforts, and stretches my time, so that everything that needs to get done, gets done.

Maybe I can't spend an hour on FB, or an hour skimming twitter, and adding my two cents. But, the things God has called me to, do get done.

And I often have time leftover.

It's a God thing.

How have you found that God has multiplied your time when your "to-do" seemed impossible?
