The gals putting on the conference are also hosting a attendee link up today. Its an ice breaker of sorts. So for all my regulars, maybe you will learn something about me you didn't know.
3 get-to-know-me things
-I am actually not a Hippie, despite what my blog name is. I am a very conservative girl. I just do a lot of Hippie type things-like loving VWs, and simple living. I totally rock the barefoot thing though. Most of my life is spent barefoot, or in flip flops when I must wear something, or in boots when there is unavoidable snow on the ground. Expect to see me bare-toed no matter the weather at Influence.
-My birthday is the day after the conference ends. I am quickly moving closer to 40 than 30, but I'm not there yet.
-I am rather shy in groups. Which is why I wanted to bring Mr. Hippie with me to Influence...to be my ice breaker. But I am going to venture this one alone.
2 things I'm looking forward to about the conference
-I am looking forward to meeting all these wonderful people who's blogs I have been following.
-I am looking forward to soaking up all the wisdom I can from the great line up of speakers.
1 thing I can't leave home without
-I can't leave home without my notebook. It has everything in it. Plans, dreams, menus, lists, notes. And it goes with me almost everywhere. I do a lot of things on the computer, but I am hanging on to my notebook. The newest version is pink with butterflies.=)
