1. What's your favorite free thing to do with your family?
Taking a walk around our neighborhood. I love being outside. Or playing Wizard. The boys get laughing so hard and that makes me laugh.
2. What project in your house are you wanting to get finished or...ahem....start?
How about refinishing our dining room floor? It has needed to happen since we moved in almost 7 years ago. The time to do it is the summer, which just happens to be Mr. Hippie's busiest time. Year after year passes, and it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe this year?
3. What are your top 3 favorite phone/iPad apps?
That would be the Weather Channel, the Clock (alarm, timer and stop watch-very helpful) and Notes.
4. What is your favorite post from last month? {June}
Behind the Times, my post about breastfeeding. I think we as bloggers, readers and parents, and are getting way too judgmental and opinionated and defensive. Where is the "live and let live" mentality of past generations?
5. What is your go-to fast food restaurant? ps...I never spell
I also spell and respell restaurant every time.=) My favorite fast food restaurant is Panera Bread. I know, I know-it barely counts. But, its classification is "fast food." I love how I don't feel sick after eating there. I ate healthy, and I got to eat my favorite food group-bread.=)
6. What clothing style do you love? Find a picture on-line that describes the clothing style you like best.
I love the 50s look of fitted dress bodices and flared skirts. It is fairly flattering to my busty figure (voluptuous=)). Day to day, I like black, white or grey t-shirt with semi-flared jeans. No skinny jeans for this Barefoot Hippie.
7. What attribute of God are you clinging to most these days?
His unfailing Grace. To me. That I must receive, and then extend to others.
8. When you think of junior high, what's the first thing that comes to your mind?
Must I think back to junior high? Sigh...awful bangs. And I thought I looked so cool. Cringe.
9. What is your favorite summer dessert?
Ice Cream. Moose tracks or Double Fudge Brownie. Oh yeah!
