I hope this series was not only marked the start of the new year, but that it also jump-started a renewal in your life and soul.
After this series, I hope you choose to make time for yourself. Make time for tea. Make time to read.
I hope you paint your nails and buy yourself flowers. I hope your make your bed with hospital corners and un-make it by making love. I hope you laugh out loud for everyone to hear. I hope you let your soul be encouraged, stirred, comforted and fed with music.
I hope you make lists and make new experiences. I hope you purge out the junk and focus on the important. I hope your heart overflows in gratefulness to God, the giver of every good and perfect gift, and to others. I hope you make giving a priority as well as volunteering.
I hope you will throw a party and bundle up and get some fresh air. I hope you walk and I hope you dance.
I hope, as we finish this first month of this new year, that you are feeling encouraged and challenged. Refreshed and renewed, in body, soul and spirit. I hope you are excited about all this year holds.
